Activities
For groups of 6 persons or more we can
organize a hiking week on the date of your choosing... or, for smaller groups, an individual hiking arrangement can be booked as well!

Hiking
Our B&B lies on the "Sentier de Piemont", one of many old pilgrims' routes through the Pyrenees.
B
oule d'Amont is also close to the intersection of the GR10 and the GR36. Starting at 'Le Troubadour', you can follow any of 5 different routes for day hikes that will take you to destinations including the beautiful Romanesque priory of Serrabonne, the sublime vantage point of Roc Rouge or the secluded mountain village of Glorianes.
The adventurous may also consider a jeep ride or overnight hike to Mt.
Canigou (2.750 m).
For medium-sized and large groups, we provide a guide service for day hikes.
In addition, we have also documented a number of these hikes, complete with maps. The routes to be followed are described in detail and easy to follow.

Cycling and training routes starting from 'Le Troubadour'
"Le Troubadour" is the perfect starting point for cyclists. The trips in the surroundings vary widely in terms of landscape and degree of difficulty, and include a number of challenging "cols". The climate in the area is Mediterranean, without the thunderstorms and hailone encounters in the Midi-Pyrénées; few cars, stunning natural surroundings with views out over the coastal plain of the Roussillon, on clear days as far as the Mediterranean itself.
We offer information and directions for 5 different cycling routes, starting from 'Le Troubadour'. These routes follow the "D-roads" (asphalt with little traffic). The descriptions of the day trips have been assembled in close contact with cycling groups who have stayed and trained with us in the past.
The climb and the descent...
You'll find yourself following routes that lead through rugged gorges and past ridges of sheer granite, where the hawks and eagles soar high above. During the climb and the descent you can revel in magnificent panormas that more than compensate for all the effort spent. A day-ride to the Mediterranean and back, following quite asphalt by-ways, is also an option. The descent from Boule d'Amont offers beautiful views, with the blue sea popping in and out of sight in the distance.
You can also choose for relatively flat rides across the plains of the Roussillon, down quiet roads and past rolling vineyards where the weary cyclist can pause for a bit and sample the local wares!
And after completing your ride you can relax in the garden at poolside, and take a dip to soothe the tired
muscles. Our kitchen is fully acquainted with the cyclist's needs and provides healthy, tasty and plentiful food for the long-distance athlete.
You can also have your cycling gear washed between runs, and there are safe accommodations for your bike.

Mountain sports
For individual guests, familes and groups interested in canyoning, rafting, parapenting, rock climbing, etc., we have contacts with local guide services and can arrange outings for you around the region. For equestrians, we can make reservations at a local stable for morning, afternoon or all-day excursions on horseback.
